Praxis Project Lab (PPL) is dedicated to serving as a vibrant community space, offering a diverse range of activities such as lens-based clubs, community-curated art presentations, and functioning as both a community photo studio and a production workshop. The overarching objectives of the completed PPL project are multifaceted. Firstly, it aims to create a conducive environment that fosters meaningful connections among artists. Additionally, the project seeks to broaden the community of artists hailing from diverse disciplines who share an interest in lens-based media. Addressing an unmet community need is also a key focus, alongside encouraging artistic innovation through the provision of a cross-disciplinary workspace. Furthermore, the initiative aims to develop additional programs rooted in the belief that art has the power to instigate social change and foster community adhesion through creative practice.
