The photograph’s power as a narrative tool is derived from the impression that what is captured within the frame is an accurate representation of what actually occurred at a specific moment in time. As complete or comprehensive as any narrative may appear to be, it will always be subject to a process of including some elements and excluding others. These inclusions and exclusion are a crucial part of what photographic storytelling is all about - What is being presented within the frame to the viewer – and what is being left out or left to the viewer’s imagination.
Praxis Gallery presents photographic works that explore the development of visual narratives through the still image. Stories may take any shape or form; they may be literal or fantasy, documentary or fiction; complex or minimal.

Praxis Gallery offers exhibiting artists the option to mail in original artwork. All artists choosing this option must fill out mail service form linked below. Prepaid return postage must be included for artwork to be returned.

Praxis Gallery offers exhibiting artists the option to drop off and pick up original artwork to the gallery during open hours every Saturday from 10am - 5pm. Everyone dropping off artwork must complete drop off form linked below prior to drop off.

3. PURCHASE PRINT
UPLOAD DEADLINE FOR PRINTING:

Praxis Gallery offers exhibiting artists the option of museum quality printing for a $37.00 fee per print. We use Premiere brand archival paper and print on a Canon Pro 4000. When you are ready to upload your image please pay at the link below. When your transaction is complete you will be directed to the image upload page.
