Master Strobe & Artificial Light To Create Stunning Fashion & Beauty Photograph - Create An Image for your Portfolio!



Lighting is the essence of beauty and fashion photography, and an understanding of the techniques required to compose a photo with exceptional lighting differentiates professionals from amateurs. This one-day intensive course is designed to take you well beyond the basics and help you realize your creative vision. Topics include multi-light setups, placement of lights to control the look of the photograph, communicating with stylists, and working with models to get the best results on set. All students will have time to shoot a professional model on set and create an image for their own portfolios. 



CLASS REQUIREMENTS: You must have taken Praxis' Beginning Strobe Lighting class or have equivalent experience. Please contact us for specific knowledge needed. 


WHAT TO BRING: Bring your digital camera, batteries, charger and memory cards.


DATES & TIME: Class Hours: 10:00AM - 4:00PM. Class Dates: Saturday, June 6th, 2020


COST: This 1-day workshop has a registration fee of $155. Save an additional 10% when you bundle this class with Beginning Strobe. Please register via the online form below. Lunch will be provided. Students with dietary restrictions are asked to bring their own.


ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Ross Anderson is an award-winning fashion and beauty photographer dedicated to creating engaging and iconic imagery. Ross has won numerous awards for his work including the APA and the Int’l Loupe Awards Grand Prize. Ross was recently published in Creative Quarterly's BEST 100, in 2018. His photography has been exhibited in solo and group shows in art galleries across the US, Europe, and Asia. His fashion and beauty clients include Macy’s, Elle, Aveda, and Regis.

CLASS WITHDRAWAL/CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: Payment in full is required at the time of registration. If the class is full we will put you on a contact list for the next scheduled class. Notice of withdrawal must be made two weeks in advance. There is no penalty to transfer to the next scheduled class. A 50% refund can be issued at this time if that is your preference. There are no refunds for notice given less than two weeks before the class though transfers may be made up to one week in advance. There are no refunds for no-shows.
