Learning how to post-process your images in Adobe Lightroom can make the difference between a good photograph and an amazing photograph. Adobe Lightroom is a mainstay for professional and amateur photographers alike, and can greatly enhance your love of photography (and profit potential). Come and learn this valuable and essential software program in a lively and fast-paced class. We’ll teach you all of the basics and even some advanced features, and you’ll leave feeling confident and inspired. Key topics covered include: The Develop Module, Toolbar, Navigator, Presets, Snapshots, History, Collections, Copy & Paste, Synchronization, Before & After, Cropping, Spot Removal, Red Eye Removal, Graduated Filter, Adjustment Brush, History, Basic (Treatment, Tone, & Presence), Tone Curve, HSL/Color/B&W, Split, Toning, Detail, Lens Correction, Transform, Effects, Previous & Reset, Camera, Calibration and Radial Filter.


CLASS REQUIREMENTS: Adobe Lightroom Part 1 or equivalent understanding recommended. Laptop required.

COST: This 1-day workshop has a registration fee of $165.00. Save 15% when you bundle this class with Adobe Lightroom CC Classic Part 1. Please register via the online form below. Lunch will be provided. Students with dietary restrictions are asked to bring their own.


ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Working in mixed media Sarah F. Weiss combines her photography with fiber arts utilizing an installation format to create experiential and sculptural works of art. Sarah demonstrates her passion for the blending of artistic mediums by currently building a collaboration with local performing artists in her current installation series. 

Sarah completed her MFA in photography at Rochester Institute of Technology from the Imaging Arts program in 2016. During her time at RIT Sarah taught as an instructor of record and discovered a passion for teaching. She continued that passion as an instructor at the local camera store chain National Camera Exchange where she worked to revitalize the photography courses taught there.  Sarah also works to create advanced workshop courses including digital software editing, alternative processes, and historical processes with both darkroom & digital output at the local Praxis Photographic Arts Center.

CLASS WITHDRAWAL/CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: Payment in full is required at the time of registration. If the class is full we will put you on a contact list for the next scheduled class. Notice of withdrawal must be made two weeks in advance. There is no penalty to transfer to the next scheduled class. A 50% refund can be issued at this time if that is your preference. There are no refunds for notice given less than two weeks before the class though transfers may be made up to one week in advance. There are no refunds for no-shows.
