Learning how to post-process your images in Adobe Lightroom can make the difference between a good photograph and an amazing photograph. Adobe Lightroom is a mainstay for professional and amateur photographers alike and can greatly enhance your love of photography (and profit potential). Come and learn this valuable and essential software program in a lively and fast-paced class. We’ll teach you all of the basics and even some advanced features, and you’ll leave feeling confident and inspired.

Key topics covered in Part 2 include:

The Develop Module, Toolbar, Navigator, Presets, Snapshots, History, Collections, Copy & Paste, Synchronization, Before & After, Cropping, Spot Removal, Red Eye Removal, History, Basic (Treatment, Tone, & Presence), Tone Curve, HSL/Color/B&W, Split, Toning, Detail, Lens Correction, Transform, Effects, Previous & Reset, Camera, Calibration.

CLASS REQUIREMENTS: No prior Adobe Lightroom experience require. Computer not required.
 

DATES & TIMES:  Part 1 (Data Storage) Class Hours: 6:30-8:30pm Class Date: Thursday November 10th 2022 - In person workshop at Praxis Photo Arts Center.

DATES & TIMES:  Part 2 (Post Processing) Class Hours: 6:30-8:30pm Class Date: Thursday November 17th 2022 - In person workshop at Praxis Photo Arts Center.

COST: This Two-Day workshop has a registration fee of $45 per section. Please register via the link below. Artist Members save 10% off all workshops.  Use your workshop member code at purchase for discount. 

CLASS SIZE: This class has a minimum of 4 participants and maximum of 15 participants.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Sarah Weiss is the Project Director at Praxis Gallery | Photo Arts Center.  She is also an artist, Educator, and co-founder of CollabArts Twincities. She completed her MFA in photography at Rochester Institute of Technology. Sarah is active in local arts organizations, exhibitions, critique, and photobook groups. She contributes to the local arts community by creating exhibition opportunities through arts programing with the goal to help build an inclusive and energizing art community.

CLASS WITHDRAWAL/CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: Payment in full is required at the time of registration. If the class is full we will put you on a contact list for the next scheduled class. Notice of withdrawal must be made two weeks in advance. There is no penalty to transfer to the next scheduled class. A 50% refund can be issued at this time if that is your preference. There are no refunds for notice given less than two weeks before the class though transfers may be made up to one week in advance. There are no refunds for no-shows.
