Create Your Own Stunning 8x10 Large Format Instant Polaroid Prints With This Iconic Historic Process!

Join us for this hands-on demonstration and training on how to use The Impossible Project‘s 8×10 instant film to achieve professional results!  Students will also have the opportunity to create their own original 8X10 instant images on one or both of our guest curated still-life and portrait sets provided by Praxis. We will provide introductory information on 8X10 cameras, metering, composition, and flash exposure. Experienced Praxis Instructors will demonstrate the process, and then assist each student in the step by step process for creating their own 8X10 instant images. Film loading, film processing, and equipment cleaning are also demonstrated with all students practicing this important aspect of the medium as well. Each participant gets to photograph at least one portrait and still life! Final shots are scanned once they have dried out so each student can bring their original instant images and hi-res scans home with them at this conclusion of the one-day intensive workshop.
